The North Carolina A&T Real Estate Foundation, in partnership with Cone Health, today celebrated the ribbon cutting of The Resurgent, a transformative development designed to expand access to health care and economic opportunity in East Greensboro. I had the pleasure of writing the press release and doing media for the department of strategic partnerships and economic development.

For my Publication Design and Layout course, I pitched, wrote, and designed a magazine feature page for Crosby Connections. A student-produced magazine created by Journalism and Mass Communications students at North Carolina A&T. The publication highlights student work, faculty and staff achievements, alumni stories, and department events.

My feature, “Training Tomorrow’s Journalists: NABJ Short Course Returns to A&T for the 34th Year,” covered the return of the annual NABJ Short Course to Crosby Hall.
